Inexpensive Method to Get to Global Village

Dubai: The 27th season of Global Village will expire in just under two months, and if you are intending to take a trip down there soon, you can easily visit the well-known destination by utilising the Dubai public bus service for just Dh10 each way. On October 25, 2022, the special bus routes to Global Village were once again made available by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai. On April 29, 2023, the 27th season of Global Village will come to a conclusion.

There are four different bus lines in Dubai that serve the Global Village

If you are travelling from one of the main routes listed below to Global Village, the one-way journey will cost you Dh10, and you will need to use your Nol card to pay for the fee. Nonetheless, check to see if your Nol card has sufficient funds for a round-trip journey. If the balance on your Nol card is insufficient, you may add funds to it using the ‘Nol Pay’ app, which can be downloaded on smartphones manufactured by Apple, Android, and Huawei.

1. Beginning in the Rashidiya Centerpoint Metro Station

Get on bus 102 at Al Rashdiya Bus Terminal Gate 5, then ride it to Centrepoint Metro station. There is a bus that arrives every hour, and the trip to Global Village takes around half an hour.

2. Beginning at the Union Metro Station located in Deira

You may take Bus 103 from the Union Square Bus Terminal, which is located next to the Union Metro station, if you are in the Deira neighbourhood. The frequency of the bus’s arrival is once every half hour. It will take you around an hour to go to the Global Village from here.

3. from Al Fahidi

It is possible to ride Bus 104 from the Al Ghubaiba Bus Terminal to the Al Fahidi neighbourhood, whether you reside in Bur Dubai, Karama, or the Al Fahidi neighbourhood itself. The bus arrives on the hourly interval.

Dedicated bus service between Ras Al Khaimah and Global Village

In January 2023, the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) put in place a new public bus route that goes from Ras Al Khaimah to Global Village.
The bus service is only offered on the weekends, namely Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and it makes two round trips per day from the Al Hamra Bus Station, which is the primary station in the city of Ras al Khaimah.

Cost

You will arrive at Global Village in around one hour and 20 minutes after purchasing a one-way ticket at the Global Village Dubai ticket price of Dh30 and travelling from Ras Al Khaimah to Global Village.

You can purchase your global village tickets for the trip at the main bus station, online at the RAKTA website or through the ‘RAKBus’ app on your mobile device.
A winter visit to Dubai does not qualify as a genuine vacation unless it includes at least one trip at the Global Village. Because of these public bus lines, unfortunately, getting there is not too difficult. Regardless of where in the emirate you may be coming from, we welcome you!
